Low Poly run cycle – The Pig-Bunny

Low poly run cycleLow poly run cycle is an example of cutting edge 3d animation… from 1997. Yeah, 19 years ago (and counting). This little critter was a character from the Goblins game we were making while I was working at Psygosis’s San Francisco Studio. The was the Pig-Bunny. I modeled it with about 100 – 150 polygons. Such was the computational power in the past. It looks as good as it does thanks to the skill of the texture artist, and my UV texture mapping chops! I this in Lightwave, and texturing and animation was in Softimage. In addition to my past stint as a low poly artist and animator, I’ve been up to other types of digital design work that yo can see here.
