Low Poly run cycle – The Pig-Bunny
Low poly run cycle is an example of cutting edge 3d animation… from 1997. Yeah, many years ago! This little critter was a character from the Goblins game our team was making while I was working at Psygosis’ (ill fated) San Francisco studio. This was the Pig-Bunny. I modeled it with about 100 – 150 polygons. Such was the computational power in the past. It looks as good as it does thanks to the skill of my talented team mate doing the texture art, and my UV texture mapping chops! I modeled this in Lightwave 3D, and I animated it in Softimage.
In addition to my past stint as a low poly artist and animator, I’ve been up to other types of digital design work that you can see here.
