Istanbul tattoo
To get your late night Istanbul tattoo itch scratched, Asmali Mescid is not necessarily known as the neighborhood you’d go to. However, it is known for late-night bars, curb-side alcoholic shot stands, and fresh-popped popcorn carts trolling the small pedestrian streets. But peering through the street-level windows of the cracked European style buildings, one can find many different sights. This night I happened upon a make-shift tattoo salon, with a customer memorializing the night. I think it was closed by the following weekend, and liked like nothing had been there for months. Certainly not an tattoo salon.
